Hey Chappy this is great. I'm sure everyone will enjoy reading over this. I have never seen the full article myself and would agree this is the best Lazair article that I've ever seen. I chuckle at a number of things in the article but hey I guess a lot of that is in the past now. There are quite a few things even I find interesting like the picture of the factory floor. Other details like the small pushrods, the lack of capstrips, and the picture showing the defective ground adjustable prop remind me of the constant evolution that took place with the planes. I'm also reminded of where some of the innovations on the planes originated from. The "heat gun" picture made me aware that I've never posted any info or pictures of how we have always shrunk Tedlar. We have always used a "factory method" with a small customized radiant heater. Maybe I'll make up a new topic on that subject....hmmm.
Too bad on the EC. Maybe this coming year you can get to it. If not I'll have to bring a Series III up there that is flyable right now and we'll swap out planes...Haa Haa !
