Subject: Beware Lazair community- attn George
Lazair.com still up boys and Burning up banwidth !!
Les-
You will notice especially that George has totally avoided answering
even one of my questions about the details of his site.
I know and he knows he has no idea how it works or why and the first
time it hiccups he wont have the slightest idea how to fix it.
This is some heavy duty corporate stuff requiring dedicated programming
staff availability. Besides when it starts gathering some messages
like the near couple of thousand here along with the embedded photos
,his program will slow to a snails pace if not on a
$200-$300 a month dedicated server.
I would hate to again see people lured by promise of greener grass
get left out in the cold with nothing but more loss of ideas
and shared knowlege at the hands of George and partners.
George, tell me I'm wrong. Find us another group useing the
same forum software on a shared host with a few thousand messages
that we can visit. If you are willing to pay a few hundred a month
out of your pocket then never mind. ... or did you want us to pay
for it ? ? ?
Tell us how you are going to do backups and what kind of archives
we will all have for the future. etc.
Like I said, very snazzy stuff as long as it works and you dont have
to wait on it or pay for it ..... until it breaks.
Let us hear from you George please.
