When changing the tiny brass check ball in carb be aware of this fact. The tiny brass valve goes in a certain way. Notice the porting holes the tiny valve. These holes need to be aligned with the porting hole in the carb housing. Before you tap a new valve in place scribe or mark a line across the flat bottom of the brasss valve the corresponds to its porting holes. Also mark the location of the porting hole on the carb housing. After you have tapped the new little valve in place check to see that the marks are in perfect alignment.
