What RPMs do your engines turn Ray ?

Probably a good idea to swap over to post type. Ones from Wildfire come with crimp-on eyelets for the wires.

I get good RPMs on the Rotax185's with K&N Filters

Left Engine 5770 rpm static and 5840 rpm in the air at 3000 ASL
Right Engine 5860 rpm static

I have not be able to equalize the 90 rpm difference, so I have to sync up with the left engine.

Maybe a high end limit screw would be nice.

Are those rpm numbers with the P-tip props ?

Can't be P-Tips...bet they are Bi-Props...right?

Fairly good numbers even with filters. You probably just need to adjust the carb on the slower running engine ? As evidenced by the rpm numbers you are running carbon bi-props. Any plans to switch to P-tips for a gain of 15-20% thrust ??

In the early days with the pioneers, sling seat and bicycle wheels the fuel PRIMER BULBS would decide whether or not you would do a dead stick landing.

Yes, I am running the 26" carbon Bi-props.

The P-Tips seem very nice but I am concerned about what they might do to the crank shaft and bearings due to the extra mass, and momentum.

I have heard of several cases of crank failure with bigger props.....any truth to that with the P-Tips?

I did try adjusting the carb high end screw and still had the rpm difference.

maybe one of my carb jets is restricted somehow....dirt or simply a smaller size....airleak?. I do notice that one engine is harder to prime by turning over the prop against its compression.
