Yes I have worked on the Triad A-1. The Curtiss Museum is now building a replica of the America, a wooden early wide body seaplane. I have a start on photos at

Some history on America at I hope this not to far off of the topic. The threads are so amazing from the Triad A-1 to Lazair as to be unblievable.

Contrast New Lazair and reproduction Curtiss Triad A-1 first seaplane. I understand that Dale lives on part of the property that belonged to Glenn Curtiss. Yet another thread.

The Lazair was quite able to keep up to the A-1. The new seaplane being built at the Curtiss museum has Olmsted propellers with opposite rotations that will be a challange.
