WING SADDLES

B HI ALL just wondering if any one has built a set of saddles as per the trailer drawings. just wondering what the overall hights are. or has some one come up with some thing new thanks ozzie

Hi Ozzie,

This is what I have on my trailer. They are about 6 feet long, one for each wing. Simple "U" shaped box with a length of carpet to form a trough with a space at the bottom keeping the wing suspended and "floating" in the saddle. It is an enclosed trailer, and I pad the side walls and strap the wing down. I made over 1000 miles without a scratch on the wings. I removed the motors for transport, but it could be made deeper or mounted higher off the trailer floor if you want to leave your motors on. Just find the balance point on the wing and position the saddle accordingly.
