Can anyone come up with a reason way the 185's mufflers would or would not
work on the solo 210's
185 mufflers are larger than the JPX so it can't be do to CC's.
The 210's muffler hangs out in the air stream creating drag and is subjected to
all the shaking from the engine resulting in braking of the exhaust flange.

you could possibly get away with them. compare things like the internal volume of the can. if you can see inside check the baffells for hole size. as you have run the solos with the stock muffler then you can fit and compare if the solo becomes slugggish or loses top end rpm you may have to open it up and drill out the holes and go up in diameter in the outlet. the solo might be all chocked up anyway from the euro noise limits.

Oz,
The old jpx's that was on the 2-seats are 212cc each cylinder
the solo is only 210. The jpx muffler is 3 3/8 round and 8 3/4 long compared
to the 185's mufflers at 3 3/4 round and 10 1/2 long.
Now the outlet I'm not sure of on the 185. the JPX is 1'' But the inlets are the
same.
The outlet can be changed if need be with no problems.
But your wright, I'll need to run with both mufflers to see if there is
any changed in rpm's.

i've seen some weird exhausts on some ultralights. one that seemed to work well was on the old skycraft scout. the had a long muffler about 3" in dia and about 2 ft long. the outlet was a tube that could slide in and out of the muffler. it acted like a stinger on a expansion chamber and by sliding it in and out you could change the tune of the engine. ozzie
