A little progress to report but not much. Making new throttle linkage and the brake cables are taking the most time. Mounting hardware throttle quadrant, but I did find the Red 5 gal. fuel tank. Is anybody using an electric fuel comp.

I came across some interesting titanium material that may work as the cap-strips that I need.

3Al 2.5Va .0035" x .726 I know that seems very thin but I should have a piece to work with by the end of the week.

nice looking material - i would have rounded the corners on the trailing edge though.

was it the correct thickness off the shelf? if so that is a slick installation.

Hi,

OK guys don't fry me, I just fly my machine and look for loose
stuff - hopefully the education is sinking in drop by drop.

A fellow I talked to may use plastic strips for his cap strips.
It could be available to me too - so I am ABSOLUTELY not
intending to criticize him, especially when I have been
thinking of following suit...

The reasoning on my part, he is the more experienced Lazair
pilot/constructor and if finds it works OK, then perhaps anything
is better than the cap strips I do not have at the moment?

I do not know the material or dimensions at this time,
still waiting for a reply on the product # etc.
