Incorporate those brakes onto the toe brakes and leave the brake handle off the stick. Controlling direction with two indepandant toe brakes is a better way to go than with one handle brake on the stick that already has plenty to do. Besides, your feet are already accustomed to braking and if you're already using your rudders for direction control, then the brakes will be just a natural addition to the process.

Just an opinion...

What brand and model of breaks did you use. Also what wheels are these?

Hi George -- of course good suggestions all except that I don't have rudder pedals. So I'm just trying to improvise for now.

The calipers are AVID -- five bearing mechanical. Oh yes the wheels are by TUFF 16 in.

The right side caliper is on and works great and finally I guess I can put the wings back on now that I'm done taken the tires off and on.

This would probably be a good place for brief pictorial review of some of the before and after changes that I've made, starting with the brakes.
