Go to the www.aerofalcon.com website, they are a good reputable source of Tedlar and Tapes.

Look down the Page under the "Covering Materials".

The PVF film IS Tedlar!

The complete kit is $695 USD for everything you will need to cover the wings(Tedlar & Tapes).

If you need to do the tail as well then ask for a 100' roll instead.

Hello out there. I have one roll of Tedlar left and can give you the source for tapes or order them for you. I have recovered 5 AC's and sold to around 20 others. If you are interested, please contact me by phone at 1-519-534-1388 Thanks.

Thanks for all your help.

I would be happy to help anyone with the recovering job, lots of tricks and special care learned by covering 5 Lazairs.

We could easily have an entire form just for recovering, I am sure there is lots of information and experience out there.

Preparation is the key, do not use any chemicals, just scrape the old tapes off the rib caps, be VERY careful not to cut through the rib taping, use laquer thinner very wisely for the trailing and leading edges on all other surfaces to remove the old Tedlar tape glue residue, they must be clean, do not apply the tapes under 65 degree temps. These are just a few observations.

Enjoy.

No, but we could make some up for you, have lots of old parts of wings etc.

They are made from strips of .035 x 1.0 wide, T6 - 6160 aluminum sheet, with a breck at 1/8 on each side.

Thanks.

Factory strips were made from .020. If you don't have them it would be a good idea make some up and install them. Having them will ensure that failure of one section will not spread to others.
