Parts for the future

Hi everybody,

I thought I would start fabricating some odds and ends up here in Canada to make some of the neat stuff a little bit easier to get. The process is slow, but I think that once it is in place, things should move along quite nicely.
Leather and vinyl goodies are giving me a little pain, but the spinner and wheel pants are moving nicely, and should see some results pretty soon.
Eventually, I would like to make a lightweight fully enclosed fairing available "for the masses", that won't break the bank to get.
If there is something you would like to have on your plane, any plane, or any comments or questions you have about the stuff I already have going, drop in a note!

Here is a pic of the first part from the molds. Two parts fused with a keytone solvent glue become one. More to come!

nice wheel pants dude...
i hate em to be honest--- try landing in wet dirt --- aka Mud...
wheels form a layer of thick mud and jamm wheel to pant.
I actually tore one right off once. LOL - to me heck........if it don;t go chrome it !!!

...and for each pound you add to your plane, it just means you have to promise yourself to lose a pound... your plane looks nicer and so will you! with the same performance! everyone wins

Thanks guys,

I am now working full time in the plastics company where I had the moulds made, and when I get some free time to develop the little details, I'll post some more pics. If things work out with Mr T, I'll have a factory full enclosure pod to model, and a good chance to start building some new ones. I believe I will be able to make them lighter and less complicated. We'll see what happens.

I have a friend with a cnc machine. Anybody interested in having new plastic parts for the plane- plugs, packers, front end standoffs etc...milled from Nylon 66?
If enough people are interested to make a run of parts, he would be willing.
