Lazair Parts for sale

Postby Skyseeker » Tue Jun 08, 2004 8:58 am

I have a Series 111 for sale. It was just recovered and now just needs to be reassembled. (Plane now back together). The two Rotax 185's run good and strong.
I also have the full fiberglass fuselage enclosure which is not installed
and needs a new lexan windshield.
A/C is currently in Tottenham, Ont. Selling for $2700.00 firm.

(Dropped price to $2500.00 CDN. Have another plane in the works so
my Series 111 has to go to help fund it.)

Hey Skyseeker,

is this what the "full fiberglass fuselage enclosure" you have looks like?

Image

Do you have pics?

Have you flown the LAZAIR since you put it back together?

Thanks for the info!

Shorty- are you saying this Lazair had some damages?

Surely the seller wold have let the buyer know of any problems.

If not and the buyer is reading this - Perhaps you should verify as shorty is a very vocal member here and also seems to be a "trained eye" so it seems.

Always welcome to her other comments on this matter.

yes this lazair that was at Volk's Field has structural in-efficientcies we willsay.

I am not sure if the buyer knows that the nose ribs were not in place and the structural integrity will be comprimised. The Mylar that is was recoverd with was ok but the installer melted many of the styrofoam ribs --agian weakening the wings. the axle had been straightened and the tube it ataches to (A308 ??) was repaired ina a MICKEY MOUSE way but that is par for a butcher.

Regardless not a bad deal for a guy with a trained eye and skills to repair it.

seller said new owner flew it home 50 miles and no problems. Surely he will read this and find out about his wings being weaker and get it corrected.
