I learned a little something new today.
The newer Rotax 185 pistons use L-shaped top ring. This top ring and the Rotax 377 top ring are the same (p/n: 215 210), but the bottom rings for those two engines are different.
The rectangular bottom ring on the newer pistons is the same as the rectangular rings used in both positions of the older pistons. The newer L-shaped rings are $40 a pop, don't bust them.

When you order a decompression valve from Wajax Wildfire sends the decomression valve on the right. The original one is on the left. The original one is nolonger available from Wildfire. It is an OEM item that the manufacturer will not ship to individuals.

what is C-IHM? covered with??
I'm just starting my re-cover...both ruddervators now have fabric on them. I'm going with ultralight fabric, attached with polytak and latex paint. I'm going to use rivets and capstrips and probably (on the advice from the falcon guy) put some rivets along the top of the D-cell, under the tape in case i get peeling.....
I'm thinking about primary yellow with primary orange wing tips....I used to work in a Search and Rescue Squadron....our Twotters were that colour.
