Hi ozzie,
I really like what you have done so far. The colours are really cool! Not much left to do. :)

Steve,

Your plane looks great! How about a little report on how your steam cleaning worked out on cleaning up the old glue, etc.?

chappy, i have some video on removing the glue and stuff i'll try and edit it and post it for all to see but a bit busy at the moment. i started my paragliding course today and that will take a bit of time.
shorty, even though it is summer here we had some snow over xmas most was in tasmania and some fell in the mountains in victoria and new south wales. strange weather we are having here.
on a sadder note it looks like two friends who fly twin otters on floats in the maldives are missing. i can't get any info on the place and as the highest point is 2 mts above sea level, we are expecting the worst. Western Australia is lucky as most of the northern part is uninhabited and the south only experienced a 2 meter surge. just a few carparks got flooded. tonights new year celebrations will be a memorial instead. so at midnight join in a minutes silence with us for those who wont be coming home. Lets all hope 05 brings peace to all

Too bad you can't get some 185s and use P-tips. Light plane like this one will have really great performance.

Hi Ozzie,

I see your also a paraglider enthusiast.

I also am, and have just about reached my P3 level. I started mid Jan 2004 and flew consistently till about October before the weather turned sour.

I fly the San Diego, Elsinore and San Bernadino areas in SoCal, so if you ever want to come for a visit, I'll take you out to all the cool sites around here.

Your Lazair looks great!.....awesome job.

Mine will have its maiden flight about the end of January, after I convert the ignitions to CDI.
