If this picture is uploadable you will be able to see the changes George has made to the Choke assembly. The ball assembly has been replaced by a throttle lever from a lawnmover/garden tractor. The assembly is available from CTC in Ontario. As you can see the center piviot has been replaced by an AN3 bolt because the pivot post was just swaged in and it did not permit tension adjustments without breaking.

The pictures will have to follow. I used Adobe to organize the pictres and the website will not accept the compressed files.

There seems to be a problem with either my machine or the website. I will upload the pictures to Yahoo Lazair.
George took pictures of the old and new decompression valves. I was hoping to post them here. After a visit to Wajax (local Mark3 pump representative) to look for the old decompression valve we were told that Wildfire are replacing the decompression valve with a plug. We ordered the new decompression valve but it does not fit into the cylinder. It is also cable operated. At $49 we were not about to modify it.
Is there anyone on the list that has a line on the old decompression valves?

Hey Bill,

Are you going to leave the cotter pin there, or replace it with a clevis pin? If you need, I have a few spare pins you can try. They are about 1/8" diameter, and should work.

I just read a post that you had troubles uploading pictures and or Adobe files?

We did have a problem after a server change last month but the problem should be fine now. The picture size allowed in a post is set at 50 meg so you should have no troubles.

Thank you for your generousoffer. I will talk to George and see if he has changed the connection.

The routing for the choke cable is not ideal. It partially blocks the adjustmens for the car needles. But you can reach them with the proper tool.
