Hi Russel,
If you or someone else can give me the tape part number, I'll give them a call and see if it is available.
When I was working on the Challenger biz jet, the specs called for Cherrylock and Cherrymax rivets to be used on some structural areas on the nose section: all latches for the avionics doors, (mainly due to inaccessability for a bucking bar), some skin to frame attachments, and some on the radome.
I found them to be good rivets and they made a good solid joint when the specs and tolerances were followed. The stem locking collar was the only sensitive area, and the specs I followed said to replace any rivets with any damage to the collar.
My single wish for a change in the Lazair would be to have a little more headroom!
At 6'3", it is an interesting slide into the seat. Maybe when I get the second plane set up with the higher from the ground wide track gear, I will be able to lay off my Chinese contortion teacher! Hee hee!
