Replacement 185

In looking at Wildfire's website, they appear to still sell the Mark III pump and have a nice spec sheet on it with the Rotax 185. Has anyone ever priced just the 185 engine from wildfire, and is this model that's currently being sold, if it is, compatible to replace the old 185s?

Just a newbie reading all I can about the 185 before the time comes to spend $$

Same engine basically. New ones may not have a machined compression release hole in cylinder. Electronic ignition may be standard now ? Maybe Karl knows as I believe he saw some engines at a dealer. Call Wildfire for a current quote on a new "Mark 3" engine. Could be expensive as last I heard a block alone was $1000 US ?

You are right about the cylinder Shannon. No compression release. I saw about 50 cylinders all lined up, and not one had the hole drilled. I phoned for a price on the engine, but my contact wasn't there. I left a message, and will try again Monday.
