Does anyone Know off the top of their head where the c of g envelope lies for my series 2 with 8hp Power Bees, and 5gal fuel?...With me 155lb, and half tank it hangs (banances) 15 1/2 in. from the leading edge...I know it's somewhere in the files but I can't seem to locate it ....I took it for my first flight the other day, and it seemed to want more forward stick than I would think necessary.....Thanks guys Pete

The unknow factor here is the weight of the power bee's. Let's assume they are comparable to the 185's. The tail weight on a stock series II with 185's was in the 8-12lb range as I recall. You get the tail weight right, you've got the GC right. That's with the actual pilot in the seat, half tank of fuel, boom level and a friend with scales checking the weight from under the tail at the spreader bar.

Hi Peter,
I beleive it's 12 to 15 1/2" from front of leading edge to balance point, if you can pick it up. My series II was at 15" when I checked mine, with new Solo engines and it flies well.
