I too use the Aircraft Spruce bucket seat that Shannon suggested, and it is way comfy. I highly reccommend this seat.

I had to take it in locally and have it upholstered. It cost me about $78 as I recall.

I ordered my Tedlar from Dale George so I'm glad that I got it while could. I then ordered all my tapes from Mike at falconeast. I've been very satisfied with both. The tedlar thread that Shannon posted is good and I spent a bounch of time reading that same info. I think that you'll find it useful.

Weather it's mylar or tedlar, to me one of the unique properties of the Lazair is the transparent wing. (sure, the Falcon UL and XPs have them too) No matter what covering option you choose I would encourage you to "keep your wings clear". If I had a source of supply I would gladly give it up.

Just my two cents,
Dave

Yes, I have two pods. The small one up in front of my forehead is for tach's only...

ya thats the face i built for mike mckusicks fibreglass shell. that ASI turned out to not work, but the russian VSI is awesome. i think its more of a variometer - very accurate readings from it.

don't forget about the original lazair instrument pod - i am still trying to get my hands on one of those..........
