Fuel AVGAS 100 LL or 90 RON mixed with a suitable oil

I wouldn't fool with these engines. They only a 200hr TBO engine. According to the quote I received 2 of them will run you $6,400 EUROS, that's $8,500 US !!!! Yeah right !

Just spoke to Limbachs "partner" in USA. The L275E engine will be available for civilians on December 2004 with a price tag of about $3000.
Needs tuned exhaust.

damn expensive plus a 7000 rpm rever

what ever happened to that carel guy that did the solo conversions adn many other mods ? I am still waiting to see a flight report on it,

Solo engines seem like good replacement for those that need all that power.


on some other notes
what happened to that scott perkins guy that seemed to know everything about everything? last i recall he sent his engines to dave loveman.


was a whole crew of folks, scott perkins, les ( another guru just vanished)

oh well still some good guys around and i really like this set up better than yahoo.

thx to lazair and crew for keeping this site up and a place for the lazair folks to come and vent
