hi Bill
i did not hang out with any Aussies at the show. the only time i really saw them was during the parade. i prefer to mingle and meet people from elsewhere. after all that is what it is all about. i can talk with them anytime back home. had some interesting talks with some people from the Thunderbay area. had a fantastic time overall.

i wish Jim from beaver dam had posted his add for parting out his series two before i left as i would have called in on my way back to chicago and done a deal on the engines. oh well.

Bill,

I'm quite involved witht the new rotary engine and airframe that Paul Mather is putting on his new M-Squared UL. I am a member of Paul's EAA chanpter and am helping to flight test the new UL, it's still unnamed. I believe that particular engine would be an absolutely insane amount of power on a Lazair. Assuming two of them on one anyway. I'm not exactly sure, but I think that a smaller version may be available.

If I were going to deviate from 185s I would opt for either Konings or hold out for an electric Lazair.

Just my unsolicited two cents,
Dave

Hey Ozzie,
What Beaver Dam is that fellow from? I live about 10 minutes from Beaver Dam, NY. Has the plane been completely parted out, it might be a good chance to pick up some D-Cells?
