Could a person really be called a pilot without spin training?
You'd be called "a statistic waiting to happen"
or a "flying casket candidate"
or "Suicidal"
Jeez.....even in my paraglider training we were strongly encouraged to learn spin recovery.
Glider training requires spins.
Hmmmm.....I wonder if that is a good idea even if its not required in the US???.......duh!!!!!
Should you learn to swin and hold your breath if your going to take up surfing???.....
I'd like to think that pilots are much smarter than the people that make the rules, so follow your gut instincts.
Like they say....flying is not inherently dangerous....just unforgiving of mistakes....so unless your perfect....you better learn spin recovery.
It will only take an hour or two of your time...and it will probably save your life should you make one of those rare mistakes.
OK, finished my rant.....but like dad used to say..."Its for your own good"!!!!
