I read on flyers they talking about some tuff lite 7 mil thick

you guys forget about weight ?

No idea if it will work and last.

I would cover in fabric before i used this greenhouse stuff.

also will it heat shrink ?
will it last in UV

How do you stick it to plane? and is it gas oil reisitant?

I HAVE NO IDEA

and I doubt many here are true test pilots.

Interesting topic though but i think it dreamland and wishful thingking

maybe Dale could give his thoughts on this "thick saran wrap stuff"

funny i repied to some flyer posters and email addys all came back Unknow emails adresss -- could it be phony posters? LOL

at least with me you know how you stand :)

I thought I should add that a $50 wing covering job using an untested film has a hidden cost.

1 Whole plane Parachute (Hand deploy or Rocket) $800 - $2500.
2 Good life insurance with out any suicide Clause $200 - $500 /mth.
3 Permission from the Wife and Kids to become a Test Pilot $Priceless

Ok who wants to go first!!!!!

Oh....and please take video, your next of kin will want to submit it for the Darwin Awards.

Overheard in the barn:
"Gee, I wonder why the designers choose the most expensive, strongest material available to cover the wings? How about we just use some of that nice Green House Plastic......I've never seen a green house fall from the sky....so it must be safe....and it doesn't shrink or anything.....we just have to pull it tight and tape it down.....and some other people said hail and wind just bounces right off of it"
