Hey Russell,
Very, Very nice looking job you should be proud! Given your seasoning it probably looks better than new. The block of wood sounds like my luck!

Russell,
I have to say that you have really done a nice job at bringing that plane back to airworthiness. Well done. Another Lazair rescued.
That plane looks like it would be a very light plane compared to later models. That should make for some fun flights soon....right?
Great job, and something to be very proud of!

Thanks all for the kind words. Criticism is also welcome.
I do feel pretty good about the way it turned out but to be honest, I am both physically and mentally exhausted. It's been every weekend minus only four since July of 05.
Before any flying other a test flight, a hanger must be constructed. It's consuming all my shop.
I think I remember that Dale K. once said that it weighed 150 lb's. I couldn't swear to it but by what it takes to lift and move around, I'd say that's probably about right. If you add that to my 6'-1" and 140 lbs. you get about what you weigh alone, huh, Tyler?!
Thanks again,
Russell
