He has indicated to me that he would quickly be overwhelmed with e-mails if his address got out, and wants to stay underground with Lazair's.

If you have a Lazair question, there are some pretty savy Lazair pilots, owners and builders here that can cover all your questions, so don't hesitate to ask.

Hi Greg,

A couple years ago I heard that Dale was living in New York State, and planning to move to Maryland. I don't know if he did, but in any case, I don't think he's lived in Port Colborne for quite some time. I, too, had heard that he was actively flying high performance sailplanes.

BTW, I spent the summer of 1983 living in Port Colborne when I worked for Dale. I have very fond memories of that experience, but I didn't much like getting paid in little bitty Canadian dollars. Are the "Buns Master" bakeries still in business? I LOVED them. I also attended a dirt track auto race not too far from town that was great fun. The canals and swinging bridges were also fascinating.

Last I heard (recently) he is in NY on a lake, heavy into sailplanes and flying a Laziar off the water.

There is no indication that Dale has ever participated directly on ANY of the various Lazair resources that have been available since 1993.

If you created a cool aircraft design that is still going strong so many years later, wouldn't you visit those sites from time to time to see whats going on?

Think of the satisfaction derived from such a success!

Its human nature....you bet he would....and of course remain completely anonymous.

Ask your questions!

Certainly some of the people here can answer any question you might have!

Including the responses you get from anonymous guests ;)

PS: Im a former member of SOSA 89-95
