Was digging through my sock drawer looking for the match for the one I had on and came across this photo. Thought some of you would like to see what I'm presently reconditioning. It's a scan of a poor quality photo taken in Febuary of 1981 about a week after the plane was completed and an hour after it's first flight.
By the way, the 240Z in the photo was just the right height to support the wings during field assembly. If your wondering why I'm not in the picture, well, I'm in the hanger breathing in a brown paper bag (my first solo also).

Is there any way to preview a photo prior to posting?

You guys wouldn't laugh at an old dog trying to learn new tricks now would ya?
Thanks for flipping it over Yankeflyer. By the way, did you notice how green the grass was in the middle of Febuary? You think I probably have a long flying season?

Regretably, no TommyB I do not. After being my primary mode of transportation for 13 years I gave it to my brother who later sold it. Other cars I wish now I had keep was a 1965 Olds 442 (bought new), a 1967 Chevelle SS (bought new), and a 1964 Chevy Nova Super Sport with a 6 cyl. engine from the factory. Oh well, you know wht they say about spilled milk.

Thanks for flipping the photo over for me Yankeflyer. Did you notice how green the grass was in the middle of Febuary? Do ya think I might possibly have a long flying season?

Hey Russel

Your plane looks just like mine must be close to the same year.

Here is the frappi link so you can get on the map and then we can see where the grass is green in Feb. http://www.frappr.com/lazairflyers

The 1968 Super B is the one I let get away.
