Folding tail

In the Series III manual it talks about the tail folding to fit better in a trailer.
Can a SeriesII tail be reasonably made to do the same? I have a hard time figuring out what the Series III manual is saying or if it relates to my Series II.
Thanks

B) Bill,
Where the tail connects to the tube that go's over the boom tube there is a insert
peace. I have pics. It steal means taking the rudders, the stablelizer bar off..
Chappy I think mod the back section so you wouldn't have to do all that.

The late Series 3 had the swivel fittings as in the previous picture while the earlier II's had the below arrangement.

Thanks Guys
After seeing the pictures and thinking about it some it is starting to make sense. What was Chappy's mod to not have to remove the rudders?
