Series I/II braking system.

This is not a real good pic but this is the "skid brake" system my Dad developed for his Lazair when it was an early Series I/II without rudderpedals. Hinged " rubber skid pads" were installed just ahead of the tires. Pressure to the skid pads was applied by pushrods and pedals mounted on the side of the front fuselage tubes. Very very effective unless it was wet.

Hi Shannon,
That is a really cool set-up! Very simple and effective. If I hadn't gone to the wide gear, I think I would have copied this set-up. With rudder pedals, one would have to do a slight modification.
