A little duck tape and I would be flying to the lodge for the meeting with Red Green.

Hi,

I'm the current high bidder of the "crusty crab"

I agree with your logic...I think I can bring her back though

Pricewise though...think I should wait? I know there have been better deals, but I

either just miss them or don't have the cash at the time

thanks Larry (ramasup)

hi larry!

every lazair is rebuildable - sometimes it takes rebuilding everything, sometimes not.

this bird looks like it has been landed hard - the tail spreader is bent, the wing attach points are sheared, the wings don't line up on the trailing edges, the A-frame is shifted...

this means there is untold damage that we can't even see - and seeing that one gusset that attaches the trailing edge to the rib - its installed so improperly it may be an indicator of other poor craftsmanship.

buyer beware on this one - treat it as salvage and total rebuild - this is not a "add 5 gallons, some oil and away we go" bird

Tyler

PS: just echoing what shannon and shorty were saying...

There is a close to pristine Ser three in London area for 4500$ CDN
no trailer but a lazair pod which imo is worth about 1000$ alone.

HI I am the seller on Ebay for this plane. I have taken some more images that ebay will not let me list because there are bids on the item. Here are the pictures. Also I spoke to my friend who is selling this unit. He had it setup in his yard when the wind caught it and flipped it over causing the damage you can see in the pictures.

In response to the above posts, I agree. If you are serious about a Lazair, be sure to contact the seller and get as many pictures and ask as many questions about the aircraft as possible before you buy. What I don't understand is how someone can call something a piece of sh** when the guy lists exactly what he knows about the aircraft and lists alot of pictures. From what I saw and some of the other posts, the airplane could be rebuilt for someone who has the desire, time, and money to keep the birds (Lazairs) flying. The engines looked pretty good and the frame wasn't bent like the other. Remember that someone's junk might be another man's treasure. Just hate for the birds to be called names because of an accident. Call the ones that someone doesn't take care of the names. :)
