If you have watched the videos of the flying in USA desert, esp. husband
and wife team...
you will note they have adapted tri-gear.
Does anyone know if these people are still into Lazair and/or where those
machines are?
It would be very helpful to talk to someone who has done it -successfully.
(Plus the CofG fix they used).
My # one project is to jerry-rig my skiis with wheels to get me from the hanger
to the runway and back down again.

why make it complicated, just use a dolly and tow it over by hand to the infield and then blast off! leave the dolly there with permission of the airport, and put it back on when you're down, and walk it back to the hanger.

keeps the lazair light and simple.

i agree, Keep it Simple.

And for skis I would prefer a taildragger over a tri gear.

Do you have skis ?
