Nice wheels Ola, those wheels give better ground clearance for sure, but instead of burning the undersides of my arms on the tires in my series 2, my nose would end up being a spoke flapper if I looked sideways!

I haven't got any pics of my skis handy to show you Brian, so I am not sure. I don't know what the original skis look like.

Karl,

Do I do not have any Ser 2 skis here. That set I helped retrofit would have been the ones to use. You are pretty well limited to ones that you strap the wheels to the skis on the ser 1 & 2 . The ser 3 was a easy change over.

If i wanted to make fast ones I would use kids snowbards. and build a little pocket for the wheel to sit in and attach that to the snowboard. I have seen the cheap snow boardsusedo n UL up to 800 lbs with out difficulty. On the Lazair at 400 to 450 lbs they should be ideal. And with a ser3 no tailski is needed but on the ser 1 you might needa nose ski.

Here's a couple of shots of my skis. Does anyone know the history of these? They're quick and easy to install and work well. I have a buddy who would like a pair if I could find another set somewhere.

nice skis
look like fiberglass, those wold work on any model Lazair i think
those are huge.......you could use a 2 seater easily in deep snow.

Challengers use one simular but with a 1500$ price tag.

Here are some more skis. Elaborate and expensive, but very nice. Retractable too!
