I am looking a buying a 1986 Lazair model B. It is a friends back east. I am trying to find a training manual to read up on. I am also trying to find some photos of the aircraft and especially photos of the controls and instument panel if it has one. If anyone could help me that would be greatly appreicated.

Cheers. Learner

Or you looking for PICS?

Here is a pic of a gentleman on the west coast. He has done some controversial mods to it. Safe or not I am not sure?

He has been invited here a few times to discusss his Lazair but have not seen yet.

Good Luck

O' the wing loading of it all not to mention weight and balance. This is just my opinion but it looks a bit heavy to me.

I think any significant mods to an aircraft should be considered by the original designer and manufacturer. I know a lazair is not a certified aircraft but you would never see this kind of thing done to a Cessna without the proper approvals and testing etc.

What would you do if it was a "real" aircraft? I hope this owner is very confident of his mods and has done all the testing to know its safe.
