I'm new here. I just bought my first ultralight, after flying remote control airplanes for 15 years. Some of my r/c planes were getting big enough to class as an ultralight!
Anyways, I bought a 1982 Lazair with the JXL engines. Twin cylinders, 22 h.p each. Is this a rare plane, or how many out there. I'm from Canada, so wondering how many in Canada.
I haven't had my official solo yet, I've been taxiing up and down the runway, with my friend who sold it to me. He is giving me lessons on flying.
Glad to be a member of the Lazair group, I'm already loving this plane, and I'm sure when I take off for the first time, it's only going to get better....
