Planning is under way once again for UPAC convention to be held August 20,21 & 22 at Lubitz Field. All ultralight pilots and enthusiasts are welcome. Last years celebration of the Lazair was well received. Hope some of you will come back this year. With any luck there won't be a power outage to slow every body down. This year we are planning to feature the Beaver RX550 since it has been on the market for 20 years. Lots of folks in Canada have a soft spot for this plane since it is used by many flight schools and provided first flights for those going into training. The camping area went over so well last year that we are expanding the camp ground. Camping is still by donation as it is rough only. (we're working to see if showers can be in place by then) I'll post the convention and forums schedule later. Come on out and join us for will be another great weekend with all your favorite people (ultalight pilots) and have breakfast at the Cafe Lazair.

Hope to see the Lazair pilots back and the ones who couldn't make it last year.

We had a great time last year, definately plan on being back again with the Lazair and the Fokker. The Lazair can be a pretty fun cross country machine if you're not in too much of a hurry. I believe that John Nagy held the distance record last year, a little over 90 miles or so. Let's hope for a weekend of great weather! Sure good to hear that showers are being installed, that'll be a treat.

Hey Good stuff Glen,

Also I posted on Yahoo today this message. are you connected to UPAC? They seme to be reluctant to respond to our emails. A simple answer like no were do not want to link to you would be sufficient if that in fact is the case.

Subject: LAZAIR update

http://www.lazair.com got lots of movies for you guys to view.
Also we are accepting UL site links for a while more.

If anyone wants to contribute to Lazair info please feel free to
contact us http://www.lazair.com or YAHOO
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lazair/

We always will supply ample space for movies that you need to send in
that you just don't have the space for on your "free sites".
Bandwidth a cheap commodity nowadays.

Funny UPAC from Canada hosted 25th year Lazair Party last year but
Ed Lubitz from UPAC still not responded but it a busy time of year
for many. I believe these are a professional organization
representing the Ultralight Pilots of Canada. I am sure they will
want to be part of the number 1 selling Ultralight in Canada at some
point. (ps and it been out of business for about 20 years)

Lazair.com always welcomes Ultralight Flyers from all types of
aircraft to join in. Our Traffic is increasing daily. Must be our
content that is putting our traffic up 400% again this month.

I am involved with UPAC. I'm one off the convention organizers again this year. Looking for volunteers to help with camping and parking if any one is interested. We’ll also be the welcoming committee for people arriving by land. This is a good way to get to know some of the other pilots and they’re families.
Please do put www.upac.ca on the links list. I spoke with our web master this morning on this matter and he has been a little busy of late, which is why he didn’t get back to you. Feel free to use me as a contact with UPAC as I’m in touch with the directors on a regular basis.
